When you connect your Discord account, your OAuth token is kept in an httpOnly session cookie that only our server can read; we do not store it in a database. Your Discord user ID is used to look up your optimization history. Uploaded files are stored temporarily in Redis and may be persisted in S3 if you create a share link.
We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party cookies. We do not collect personal information beyond what is described above. We do not sell or share any data with third parties.
Temporary files in Redis expire automatically. Files stored in S3 for shared links persist until manually deleted. Prepared video downloads are deleted from the server within 15 minutes. localStorage data and the Discord session cookie remain in your browser until you disconnect your account or clear your browser data.
We use the following external APIs: Tenor (GIF search), Giphy (GIF search), Discord API (OAuth authentication and uploads), and Telegram Bot API (sticker pack management). The video downloader fetches media from the site you link, and may fall back to public Cobalt instances when the site blocks our server. Each service has its own privacy policy.
sticklr sets a single first-party session cookie when you connect Discord, so uploads and history work without exposing the token to scripts. There are no tracking or advertising cookies. Preferences, drafts and presets live in localStorage.
